Peacocks in the okra!
I went to cut okra this afternoon and I had 2 peacocks in my garden. This one was showing off his "stuff" by the okra. After this they were checking out the chickens. I thought this was so neat. They belong to some neighbors of ours and they roam around sometimes. They better stay out of my blackeye peas.
First Post
Big Girl and Peanut
Ally May, Teddy, Peanut, and Little Bit, Big Girl (last 2 don't have names until they find a family)This is my first post! I have placed pictures of our 5 puppies because this is pretty much what our lives are right now. These beautiful dachshunds were born on Memorial Day and are the result of not knowing our male Spike could still produce puppies within a month of being fixed....Yikes. It has been an awesome experience for us though. The kids got to watch the birth and have learned so much responsibility by helping out. I have enjoyed taking care of Peanut and watching him thrive. He is our runt that we are still bottle feeding. It's like having a newborn baby in the house. Instead of crying, I get to hear squeaking in the middle of the night that lets me know it's feeding time. He still fits in the palm of my hand. We have become so attached to him and will be adding him as a member of the Bennett Bunch!
